The time is near. In a little over 24 hours we will be boarding a series of flights from West Palm, FL to Auckland NZ, where we will pick up Crystal Serenity and continue where we left off in 2020 on the Crystal 2024 World Cruise.

With the Houthis still firing missiles into the Bab-el-Mandeb (sounds like a region on Arrakis from the movie DUNE), our itinerary has changed, significantly. We will make it as far as Sri Lanka before heading SW and around Africa.

In the meantime, we are finalizing some last minute packing–yeah… what does one pack for a 90-day cruise? My carry-on looks like I am a drug smuggler, packed with 90 days worth of scrips, vitamins in baggies and lots of cash in small denominations. Were just hoping to get out of FL, but Canada customs is another story…..
